OUR WINES

Overmountain Vineyard has five varieties of grapes planted: Cabernet SavuginonCabernet FrancMerlot, Petit Verdot and our estate premium wine, Petit Manseng. We also grow blueberries onsite.

After tasting our wines, feel free to enjoy your picnic lunch with a bottle or glass of wine. You can relax by the creek, at our picnic area behind the tasting room or sit by the fire on those cool fall and winter days.

Visit us to enjoy a tasting, a glass or a bottle of wine while relaxing in our vineyard. A variety of seating areas, including covered tables and comfy Adirondack chairs are awaiting you.

2016 CHARDONNAY

This artisanal, handcrafted wine is stainless steel aged and grown at Rockhouse Vineyards. Notes of grapefruit, citrus and lemongrass on the nose and bracing acidity through the finish.

2017 ROSÉ

This Provence-style Rosé is stainless steel-aged and shows aromas of rose petals, peaches and ripe melon. On the palate, it is soft with a lingering tartness. Estate grown.

2015 CABERNET SAUVIGNON

A medium-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with notes of cherry, anise, dried fig, dark chocolate and cedar. This wine is layered with flavor and aged for 15 months in French Oak. It has a silky mouth feel with mild tannins and a lingering finish. Estate grown.

2015 REVOLUTIONARY RED

A full-bodied blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in both American and French oak. Bold notes of cherry, raspberry, cedar and subtle hints of vanilla. Long spicy finish. Estate grown.

2017 VIOGNIER

This big-bodies wine is made from the Viognier grape and has complex tropical aromas of kiwi, honeydew melon and lemon zest. It is stainless steel-aged and has a crisp, lasting finish.

2017 MUSCADINE

Unique, distinctive and well-structured, this wine is true to the fruit while being fresh and fragrant, light, silky, smooth with a classic aroma. It has a mild sweetness at the start and a pleasant acidity on the finish that is unlikely in any other Muscadine wine. Stainless steel fermentation.
