Our Wines

Our Tasting Room is open year-round and is currently open Wednesday through Sunday or by special appointment. We offer shipping or pick up service.

Overmountain Vineyard has five varieties of grapes planted: Cabernet Savuginon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and our estate premium wine, Petit Manseng. We also grow blueberries onsite.

After tasting our wines, feel free to enjoy your picnic lunch with a bottle or glass of wine. You can relax by the creek, at our picnic area behind the tasting room or sit by the fire on those cool fall and winter days.

Chardonnay
CHARDONNAY 2016
This artisanal, handcrafted wine is stainless steel aged and grown at Rockhouse Vineyards. Notes of grapefruit, citrus and lemongrass on the nose and bracing acidity through the finish
Rose
ROSÉ 2016
This is a small batch aged in stainless steel and 100% Petit Verdot. It has notes of grapefruit and citrus and has mild acidity. Estate grown. Seventy-five cases.
Camelia
CAMELIA 2016
This artisanal, handcrafted wine is stainless steel aged. Produced in the Old World style with a minimalist approach. It is bright wine with aromas of lemongrass, kiwi, citrus and melon. Finishes dry, crisp and has great acidity. Blend of Chardonnay and Petit Manseng.
Cabernet Sauvignon
CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2015
A medium-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with notes of cherry, anise, dried fig, dark chocolate and cedar. This wine is layered with flavor and aged for 15 months in French Oak. It has a silky mouth feel with mild tannins and a lingering finish. Estate grown.
Revolutionary Red.
REVOLUTIONARY RED 2015
A full-bodied blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in both American and French oak. Bold notes of cherry, raspberry, cedar and subtle hints of vanilla. Long spicy finish. Estate grown.
Cabernet Franc.
CABERNET FRANC 2015
A full-bodied wine with notes of cherry and vanilla. This wine is layered with flavor and aged in American oak. The silky mouth feel has a long, lingering finish. Estate grown.
Blackberry Port.
BLACKBERRY PORT
This port is aged for 24 months in French oak barrels. The fruit is grown locally and undergoes whole berry fermentation. It has a rich mouth feel and a long, lingering finish. Fortified with French Brandy. 20% alcohol.
