What’s long been our personal vision has finally become a reality. In the Fall of 2002, we opened what we hope will quickly become recognized as one of North Carolina’s signature vineyards and winery, Overmountain Vineyards.

Nestled at the gateway of the Blue Ridge Parkway, Overmountain Vineyards is planted on 75 acres of fertile farmland. You will enjoy the picturesque views as you enjoy a walk through the vineyard.

Tryon, North Carolina was once a leading producer of grapes in the late 1800′s and early 1900′s. Due to prohibition, grape growing declined but the interest in grapes never left. Tryon is currently growing and experiencing a rebirth in vineyards, producing grapes for winemaking. We are bringing back the agriculture/traditions of the past.
