who we are
A family farm, an estate vineyard, and a place to linger
Overmountain is a boutique winery on a family-owned farm in the Tryon Foothills. Winemakers Frank Lilly and his daughter Sofia craft distinctive French-style wines—primarily from estate-grown fruit—meant to be enjoyed slowly, with a view.
our mission
Craft expressive wines from our estate vineyard and welcome guests into an elevated, unhurried tasting experience.
our Vision
Preserve the land and the legacy behind it—so every season adds to the story in the glass.

Estate-grown vinifera, crafted in a French Style
We focus on five vinifera varieties planted on the estate—Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and our premium Petit Manseng—crafted with a hands-on approach and a sense of place.
